You washed your hands..... right?

I don't know what my deal is..... i mean.. I love to bake, I love to bake for others, and share my goodies. As a matter of fact, i have just gotten through baking, pecan pie bars, lemon drop cookies, puppy chow (well that's not really baking, but you get the idea)... YUM! My problem is as follows..... I cant eat goodies that friends share with me. I mean, I share mine with them, I force feed them practically, making them taste the delicious morsels right in front of me! Looking for that smile on their face, sweet bliss in their mouth... waiting for them to say, "Oh Jessica, these are the best I have ever tasted!!!!!!" Which I do normally hear... (not to toot my own horn!)... I cant eat food, treats, anything that someone else has baked, cooked (other then family). I'm afraid they didn't wash their hands, they licked the spoon, they let the kids play in the dough before they bake them.... I just don't know what my problem is! Its strange, yes it is! It was such an issue on Thanksgiving, after I was given my assignment I noticed I was not bringing any baked goods for the lovely holiday (my sister for some reason always puts me in charge of the rolls, what the....) That is actually a running joke in the family... So, she had her fiance, otherwise known as Mr. Clark, get a chocolate pie, so I would be able to have dessert! SO Nice and thoughtful of her, yes!

All the while, me baking this Holiday season, and giving my delicate, yummy little treats to all the neighbors... and anxiously awaiting a call, S.O.S, a letter, a wink... to let me know how yummy my treats were! Also, If I dont get a look, letter, an mmmmmmm..... I get a little bit hurt feelings!

I think that is so strange!

Maybe this is something I should work on in the New Year!

Have a little faith in others..... I guess that is my moral, strange way of saying.... I need to have some beleif that...... "They washed their hands"
