Im just RanDom....

I came across RANDOM pictures this evening, from my phone, camera etc......

I wanted to post them, just too,

do i always have to be clever and Witty when i do!

Apparently not, if your reading this post! ha ha ha...

So i thought my "Thoughts" were much random tonight anyway....

so.. this is all very fitting! (in my eyes!)

~So, i had previously mentioned that my neighborhood is awesome...... we are sitting on the driveway (too lazy that afternoon to get out the chairs) ... Marissa, my neighbor drew this for me in Chalk.... she is so funny.. but it is quite nice! That's a Starbucks cup in the corner! :)

They specifically told me to take a pic and blog about it! Think they are tired of my blogs? Thanks MO!

~I took Jack and a friend of his to Ice Cream Friday after school (with his brother too), because Jack had to give an Oral Presentation in front of the class on, GERALD R. FORD! I did.... err.. he did quite nice on his decorative, yet presidential board regarding Mr. Ford... he was the 38th president you know! :)

WE Heart "thrifty ice cream"!!

~My sister and I normally meet for coffee at a local Starbucks on Wednesdays! We drink, we chat, we go shopping after.... and everyday, every time, she always looks this pulled together!

She never has a hair, piece of jewelry, out of whack! Me..... not so much!

~Humidity is her enemy~

Splashed all over, the aroma was in the air.
That was a BUMMER!

~All wasn't so bad after the coffee spillage.... i went into a little thrifty store today, and found these little lovelies... aren't they so pretty...

can you blame me?

~If anyone needs a FANTASTIC cookie recipe... i have come up with the best PEANUT-BUTTER Choco CHIP, CHOCO cookies! They fly out of the container!

I think that if my family gave out awards...

like a "BEST COOKIE IN THE FAMILY" award...

It would go to me... i mean these!

I will share the recipe if anyone wants to try!

~This has become one of my fave APRONS i have made! I have been sewing up a storm....

Yes, that is an applique flower i made, and attached on there thank you for noticing! Isn't it just the sweetness!

Its TIME......

So, let me lay it down..... HONESTLY.....

Miss Jessica here... has been, packing on the

winter pounds!

You know the feeling of..

"Being Stuffed in your Clothes"

(my sister and i use that phrase)

Well... I AM!

My jeans are looking a bit snug...

I have been noticing extra me,

and i have been extremely

critical of all my pictures...

ITS TIME!

ALSO... I live here in AZ..

and today

it was 86 degrees...

I was wearing a skirt, flip flops, and tank top

(and a little light sweater!)

Not so attractive as this outfit once was!

Soon... it will be swimsuit weather here!

Today i mark the day!

I am starting this... health kick (not going to refer to it as a diet...)

with the SPECIAL K Challenge, then i will go from there!

Once i set my mind to it... i seem to do pretty well, Its when i fall off the wagon!

Its hard to get me back on. (i bet that's because the proverbial WAGON, is always near a holiday, that means TREATS!)

With Christmas behind us... My birthday done... i think it is time to be focused!

So i weigh.... ***... (you didn't think i would

actually tell you!)..

and hope to be a bit slimmer then

that with in the next

couple of months...

Today has started off well.... walked to get Jack from school...

pushing Tag... took us about 30 minutes...

(had full intentions of us walking home, i had

brought Jacks scooter to ride home, and some Gatorade)

Until, Tag Mr. Stinky Pants.. had an accident

(i was not prepared,

i mean the "little" monster had taken care

of certain business before we left, how was i to know!)

And had to run down a girlfriend of mine to take us home!

Luckily she is my dear neighbor!

So...

I have a great start.....

IM FULL on BOARD!..

WISH ME LUCK!

(on a side note: The Special K, is delicious! and

has kept me pretty full for the 2 meals i have

eaten today! Im impressed!)

Embrace the SINGLE LIFE......

I'm always whining about being single.... blah blah blah...

Well, i have decided to just embrace the single life!

In my head i was jotting down...

What things do i get to enjoy from the

SINGLE LIFE.??.....

• i get the whole bed.... i don't have to share.... i don't have to hear snoring...

• both bathroom sinks.... I GET!
  
  
• For dinner...... KIDS... what will it be? Cereal! PERFECT! (not all the time, but once in a while)
• You know the little thing called the CLOSET.... filled to the rim!

• Went out for SUSHI with a girlfriend last night....... didn't have to check plans!

Don't get me wrong... I did enjoy the MARRIED life, sharing, conversations, someone to count on, spend quality time with....

But since i am single... i might as well LOOK at the good.... or look a situation, and turn it to something good.....

I will share the closest with someone when the time is right, or even share the other sink......

For now..... I don't have to ask someone to put the toilet seat down!

AND I'M GOOD WITH THAT!

So for now.... it is still....

Fabulous sister.... threw me a beautiful

lunch celebration!

At first, i had told everyone, nope,

no birthday this year.. I'm old, divorce' and with children..

not thinking about the good... only thinking

about the (not bad) but.. not ideal self!

Well, my sister is my BEST FRIEND for a reason

Because well, she ignored my every request

to pretend i was hatched, or dropped by a

stork on some crazy night, which we had no

idea, therefor had no official b-day!

NOPE~
She did what best friends, and sisters are
suppose to do! Spoil you rotten!
AND THAT SHE DID!

I got to choose the menu...

Which were my faves....

Bruschetta, Cesar Salad, Pesto Pasta...

all things, that she makes that are so delicious!

She even Sugar rimmed our

Strawberry Lemonade glasses!

Not one detail

forgotten!

The newspaper was not for the Barack interview! ... ha ha..

was to show the day i was BORN...

Me.... so happy.. and maybe even on a SUGAR HIGH!!!

One thing that never happens is, you leave my sisters

house on a b-day without FLOWERS!

She always has FRESH flowers! Lily's are my FAVE!

The bird and candle was from Jack and Tag this morning!

Isn't that so sweet!

I love them, love all my family for making this day so

special to me!

Have piano..... will travel!

My "little monster" ...again

Yesterday, he walked through the house, caring his alligator piano, and
everywhere he went, he played an "oh so lovely tune!"

~didn't have the heart to tell him, i think he is tone def...

~will let it slide~
As Jack went to school Mr. Tag and i played... I
did have to make a to do list in regards to what i
was doing throughout the day........

*I put batteries in the piano...

still haven't decided if that was a mistake or not!

My 2 year decided he wanted

to VACUUM...

CAN you blame him, of course not!

I love love to VACUUM, especially

after i got my DYSON!

... BUT!...

There was nothing to VACUUM....

So, the "little monster"

opened...

chips, pretzels, pringles

threw them on the floor

and began to VACUUM with

his...

....... PLAYSKOOL VACUUM!...
which

in turn,

crunched everything onto the floor in

crumbs!

SO...
the change jar will have to be

VACAY MULA! :)

(I'm the cynical one in the family, and not having a significant other...

single, but i have my family, my kids, and great friends who

and my sister and her kids!... Um YUM!

Eating Sushi.... Um, Yummmmmmm!

I know I know...

everyone should enjoy a few of their favorite things...

As I have been posting... I have been excited about

starting some new crafting ideas,

First of all.... i made the conversation hearts... that now fill the whole house

with Hearty Love!

Thanks to the blog.... FULL HOUSE .... they are so cute!

Now, on to making APRONS....

That's the fabric i have chosen.. how cute is that going to be!

I'm also redoing Jacks room, we have cleared out all the Pirate stuff.....

no more "arggg matey"...... now he wants SPORTS,

and FOOTBALL.... thank goodness he has a neutral bed set.....

So, i am covering a wood board, with football cards, for some wall art, so far so good

but just have to work out the edges.....

I love feeling DOMESTIC!

Dear Mr. Hobby Lobby......

AS i entered your store today with my sister, to purchase just a few pieces of scrapbook paper, and maybe a few things from your lovely Valentines section....... I began to look around..... Mistake #1...... why would i do that, why would i tempt myself........ dang it!
My sister and i are meandering around the store..... with CREATIVE ideas bursting out of us....
A short....... errrr..... 1 hour and 45 minutes later..... we are at the check out!
What the................

Wow, whats the hold up at the check out Hobby Lobby, i mean.. sheesh.....

..oh.... um... ITS ME!

My sister gives me a little sarcastic...... "maybe you should apologize to the patrons behind you for taking so long... having so much stuff....." ~very funny Rebecca!

So, in conclusion.... i was just wondering, if you, Mr. Hobby Lobby, will be mailing my

THANK YOU letter to my house..... FOR KEEPING YOUR STORE IN BUSINESS!, or shall i pick it up at the store........

VALENTINE

I have never been a big fan of Valentine's Day....

This year i decided to decorate, just a little!

Tomorrow i am going to take a stab at making

these great conversation hearts my sister made,

which she in turn got the idea from a blog she follows (going to try

andput my own spin on the idea though)!

Wish me luck!

I think i see some baking in my near future tooo...

Now that's right up my ally!
