Just wanted to jot down, and say out loud things I'm happy to have in my life...

What was...THE SPRING BOUTIQUE.......

The SPRING BOUTIQUE....

was such a fun event.

We had such a good turn out....

All the ladies left with something special,

HANDMADE, and one of a kind!

Thanks to all of you.....

The boys and I had such a fun, busy weekend....

all had a great time!

I took a ride on this Saturday.... You know..

I'm supporting bike week too!

FYI: it was scary!

At first he was so scared of

the bounce slide.. then 5 hours later

he was still sliding!

When Jack puts his backpack on for school,

Tag grabs his too....
This is that crazy cactus... it has really pretty
yellow flowers on it..
I wonder what will happen next....

We also spent some time with a friend...
well.... a possible more then a friend, friend....

The boutique was a HUGE hit...
I will post about it next....
I bought a great old hutch/secretary desk
at a garage sale...
its going to be my first...
real...
furniture project.
Im excited to get started!

Why we love Arizona.... SPRING BREAK..

Its Spring Break for Jack.

Here in AZ, he has year round school,

which means, he gets 2 weeks holiday

instead of 1... same for Spring Break, 2 weeks!!!
It has been perfect weather!!
JUST PERFECT!!!!!!

We went to the Public Library and check out some books yesterday.....

Jack meandering through the books...Tag found one quick!

We went to Cold Stone and got some Ice Cream....

Tag and Jack both got Cotton Candy.... Tag with Sprinkles

Jack had gummy bears in his...... Y U M!!!


Isn't this Cactus crazy.... its growing outside our home...

Its ten feet tall... and just looks like it came out of nowhere!

We went to the park today...

and had a picnic...

it was 83degrees outside... so beautiful!

This is the park behind our house....

....they rolled down then hills and played in the grass....

I layed in the sun....

... i think i even got some color! YEAH!

Wednesday we are headed to a spring training game...

The Cubs vs Giants.. should be fun!

This is Jacks first day of SPRING BREAK... 2 weeks off!

My sister and I went and watched her man play softball last night!

(we named the team as well)

OHGosh that was so much fun!

We like to "Heckle" the other team...

hell, we HECKLE everyone..

Even the Ref had to turn and give a giggle at us!

(The ref thought he was in the major leagues...

very entertaining to watch, i might add)

Nothing better then watching middle aged men (of course sister

i am excluding Mr. C from these comments)

thinking this is the PLAYOFF game, and is

OH SO IMPORTANT...

~then you get a few ninnies such as myself and my sister

out there yelling ...

"GO TEAM LOOSE BALLS!"

Ahhhh.... "BUTTERFINGERS"

"Woops... guess you missed that one!"

"RUN.... RUN LIKE when the COPS are chasing you!!!!

We were quite funny!

We laughed at each other anyway!

Its so close i can almost smell it! ....
Well, really what does Summer smell like.... to me.?

Suntan lotion

sand

lemonade

...... ahh....

I love Summer! Especially here in Arizona!

Bring on the 120 degrees....

Bring on the Sunburn (which happens to be one of my fave things, weird i know, but love

when i get red cheeks, and the warm feeling on my face!)

Bring on the pool play, loud music, a bag of ice....

(my sister and I would eat a bag of ice while laying out by the pool)

I do have one teeny tiny problem.... SWIMSUITS! AHHHHHHHHHHH

OK, now.. i am still doing my SPECIAL K challenge.....

Its actually effortless.. i never feel hungry, it doesn't seem like work... and i feel good.. so

i guess its working!

I'm waiting for the 2 weeks to be up and going to try on a pair of jeans that were becoming a

bit snug.... to really see if it worked! (i refuse to buy a scale)

I will be breaking out all

the SUMMER clothes...

tank tops, flip flops....

flirty skirts......

I'm so happy!

Arizona Science Center Saturday....

First off....
If you have never been to the Science Center, you just MUST go....
Kids are allowed everywhere, they can touch.... E V E R Y T H I N G !!!! Its just so much playing, learning.... hands on fun!
We go to the Science Center probably about ten times a year.... we make a day of it, then get something to eat after, its a lovely time!

We tend to go when my ex-husband comes in town to see the kids... its a fun activity we all do together!
We went on Saturday, and just had the most fun.....

um, the EARTH.... duh!

The goal here was to make a dam.

meteorologist)

It rains, it blows wind, it heats up.. its so cool...

it even shakes for an earthquake!

It sprays out air, like a sneeze!
poor guy took off running after that!

We also went to the Planetarium, and watched a great movie on "The BLACK HOLE"

After the fun filled science center,

we jotted on down to the Biltmore for some lunch....

Its always a fun time when "the ex" comes to visit... strangely enough!

I took a zillion pictures, but you should just go yourself.... its so much fun!
